LIVRA-BOIS is equipped to meet wood treatment needs for construction and other applications.
At the Dore l’Eglise site, we have a Class 2 yellow spray treatment station. Its production capacity is one truckload per day, allowing us to fulfill urgent orders. This treatment certifies the wood for resistance against insect and fungal attacks that can damage frames and structures.
Nearby, on another site, we can perform Class 4 treatments for pine and Class 3 treatments for fir/spruce. These treatments are intended for wood to be used outdoors, significantly enhancing their durability over time.
All by-products from our productions are repurposed either as fuel
or used in the manufacturing of wood panels, paper pulp, and wood pellets.
By-products from the sawing production are transformed into wood chips.
Knife grinders integrated into the sawing lines allow us to manage them.
Mixed softwood species: Fir, Spruce, Scots Pine, or Douglas Fir
Particle size: 10 to 50 mm (paper specifications)
Can be used for the production of paper pulp, wood pellets, energy generation, etc.
Our sawdust is produced by the sawing lines.
Mixed softwood species: Fir, Spruce, Scots Pine, and Douglas Fir
Particle size: 0 to 10 mm
Can be used for the production of panels, wood pellets, etc.
Derived from the debarking process, which involves removing the bark from the tree.
These barks may occasionally contain wood chips and branches.
Mixed softwood species: Fir, Spruce, Scots Pine, and Douglas Fir
Particle size: variable (not screened, not ground)
Can be used for the production of compost, energy generation, etc.
These barks are continuously ground after debarking by specific lines.
Mixed softwood species: Fir, Spruce, Scots Pine, and Douglas Fir
Particle sizes: 0 to 50 mm and 0 to 100 mm
Can be used for the production of compost, energy generation, or mulching.
Product derived from the production of rounded roundwood. These are wood pieces with bark present.
Mixed softwood species: Fir, Spruce, Scots Pine, and Douglas Fir
Particle size: variable (not screened, not ground)
Can be used for the production of compost, energy generation, or mulching.
